There are two different versions of the advanced X-MODE^® system available on the all-new Forester. On the standard version, the operation of both the VDC and X- MODE^® system is controlled through the central touchscreen, allowing you to tackle steep and slick hills with uncommon confidence. On the available dual-function version of X-MODE^®, you can select between two settings tailored to specific driving conditions—namely, snow/dirt and deep snow/mud. Available on the Sport trim level and above, the dual-function X-MODE^® system provides an even greater level of control in challenging driving conditions, terrain and weather.

The all-new 2025 Forester features a completely reimagined passenger cabin. Inside, you’ll find a large and quiet space, the result of an all-new platform, more sound-deadening glass and other materials, and improved aerodynamics. This compact SUV also features premium appointments, material patterns inspired by nature and seats redesigned for increased comfort. Among the list of options are the ventilated front seats, wireless charging pad and a new 11.6-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ integration.

Standard equipment on all trim levels, the fourth-generation version of the award-winning EyeSight^® system is more effective than ever. The system features a new wide-angle mono camera, which dramatically improves its ability to detect obstacles or potential danger in the road ahead. Utilizing improved recognition software and control software, the new EyeSight^® incorporates such features as Automatic Emergency Steering, Adaptive Cruise Control with Vehicle Hold, Emergency Stop Assist, Pre-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Lane Centring Assist, Lane Keep Assist and Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. When equipped with the EyeSight^® system, previous versions of the Forester have earned the highest possible front-crash prevention ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
